Thumbs down Honest Bodyshop in Chicago?

I am afraid of going to the wrong bodyshop.

Last year I brought my Suburban to get repainted after doing the body work myself. After coming to pick it up I was watching some employes working. I noticed one man slapping bondo on a car with rust still on it. Just covering it up like hes blind!

Now I dont know where to go, and who to trust.

I thought they were good they have been there for many years....

I also am occasionally in Indiana 50 miles from Chicago, so If you know something close by there I wont mind... thanks in advance...

That sucks, man. See my post on rocker repair... I know that sinking feeling of finding out you've still got untreated rust under a "repair." TO me, there are true repairs, and then there are "cover-ups." Two very different things.

I can tell you the names of some good shops downstate, but I'm 3 hours south of the city. Sorry! But I wish you luck in your search... sure some Chicago Mercedesshoppers will get you pointed in the right direction!

If you want quality work, that is the place.
It is worth the trip, just to see their shop.
