Is your EGR still connected???
- EGR is still physically on the car, but there's a strategically-placed ball bearing

Have you cleaned your intake manifold?
-No...at least not yet.

Have you cleaned the ALDA banjo bolt?
-No; need to install a boost gauge and repair the signal feed line before cleaning the banjo bolt will do me any good

Have you adjusted your valves?
-No; desperately overdue, but haven't had time

Have you checked tire wear and air pressure in the last month?
-Yes; all good on the rear tires; front tires need to be replaced...but then again, so does just about everything else on my front end...

Have you checked oil and coolant level this week?
-No, only because I haven't refueled this week. I check those at every fueling stop, which is roughly every 2 weeks.

Are the snow tires on your car yet?
-Snow? What's that? OOH YEAH...that white stuff I see on TV every now and then

Does your block heater work?
-No; none installed

Do you carry tire chains?
-See two questions above

Do you carry bags of sand?
-See above

Is there an ice scraper/snow brush in the car?
-See above

Did you get a pair of gloves for the car?
-Not for the car, but I've got a pair of gloves in the truck (heater's non-op at the moment)

Are you ready for winter?
-Almost...still need to replace the radiator in the truck, but otherwise I'm good to go

This winter yes to all of the above, except snow tires I'm going to try all seasons before I pay $500+ for a set of Blizzaks.

Next winter:
1. Pull SDL into garage
2. throw sheets over it
3. Drive fwd beater

My '70 300SEL 6.3, '80 300SD and '87 300SDL are all ready for winter. They are parked in the garage where they will stay until spring. So they are absolutely ready for winter and in the spring they won't have any more rust on them than they have now which is next to none. because they are parked innside every winter.
