First look under the car for any leaks and if there are any, track them up to what's leaking. Second, pop the hood and look at your bypass hose on your injecters (looks like vacuum hose that loops from inj. to inj. and back to fuel filter housing). It's not uncommon for an old piece of this hose to develope a leak. The leak would smell like fresh diesel, not exhaust gases.

Ouch!!!

rear injector shows bubbling. maybe that is the reason that area is wet and not the head gasket removal and valve adjustment that was done

price of braided fuel injector return hose
dealer 1 15.75 / m
dealer 2 26.75 / m
fastlane 10.95 / m plus 20 bucks shipping.

wish i had enough to get the free shipping.

could be bad heat shield/injector seal letting fuel and compression out.(I had a #5 cylinder leak that was due to that)

and of course

it is the hardest on to get too. looks like a phone call to my on call service advisor.

stealership 2 turned out to be customer friendly. the 21$ price is for use in the shop. over the counter it was $11.41. ya know.....my lines certainly don't look like the new line. rotted is a good word to describe them. looks like i will be replacing the rubber where i can.

read the brake purge thread and that looks like something i need to do also.

I just replaced mine this afternoon kinda of A PITA cause your fingers don't fit to mash the hose down. I just took off one at A time and measured and cut, took awhile to get each one on properly, went to the dealer it was 15 bucks for three feet of hose not bad, I had to do it today the puddle of fuel was getting huge on the street. I drove my truck of course to the dealer, don't really want the car to catch on fire.

is it too soon to say

no bubbling? drove it a lirttle in town but uts too dark to see anything but it tested tight. the braiding was rotted and the leaker was saturated with fuel the ozzed when squeezed.

thank you on call service advisor.

looks like it it all around hose changing time.
