That seems downright cheap if the car is really as good in person as it is in the pics.

Christmas + kids = no money.

Cheers,

Fintail at 5280 Feet!!

Can you imagine the performance of that beast in mile high Denver. Zero to sixty once a day.

Somebody here should grab this one quick. There are a good many people here from Denver, someone would probably go look at it for a serious prospective buyer. I kinda got an early start on my Xmas this year or I would be very tempted.

This one would be more driveable in the flatlands and I am guessing it has no AC?

Virtually no chance it has A/C, although I have seen add-on A/C in 200D's.

I think a 190D had about 50HP. I wonder how well it starts under high altitude cold WX conditions.

Still, I bet it would be a neat ride.

I have no doubt that grimgaunt and I could slip a 617 into that and make a rocket out of it!

Problem is...., he's already buying ANOTHER fintail (that will take quite a bit of work compared to this one!) and I just bought yet another a 300D for $100/L.

Pics tomorrow when I can take them!

Funny, I posted a notice in the vintage forum about a cherry 200D finnie for sale near L.A., white on white, with add-on AC, NO RUST, for $2,500. The bottom feeders weren't interested.

If anybody really thinks they want to buy this thing, I could go check it out for them. I live maybe an hour away, depending on the traffic. I don't know a thing about the fintials, so you would have to tell me what to look for, besides the obvious stuff that one would look for on any car.

Just PM or email me.

Brandon

It's within 5 miles of where I work and live. I'd look at it for someone if they wanted. A virtually identical car was for sale about a yr ago here in Denver. It could be the same one. Massa has an auto pawn business so the vehicle may come from that end of their business.
As far as I am concerned, I have a very serious neck injury probably as a result of being rear-ended, so I would never dream of riding in a car without headrests on the seat to protect my neck. I would also recommend that no one else ever does either. Bad whiplash can totally ruin your life.
