Fuel Mileage Drop

My 84 300D went from an average of 28mpg to 24 Mpg in one tank... This tank I can tell is gonna be even worse. Its been unusually cold in New Mexico lately, does that effect it? Perhaps, corispondingly, my car pulls to the right. However its been doing that for a while, and there is no wear on the tires. I jsut have to keep the wheel slighty to the left. Is it the alignment giving my trouble? Sorry for the sorta 'basic' questions..
