1998 e300 D check engine light on.
 

I have a 300d with code P1470 Intake or boost pressure control and P1403 HFM-SFI controlled EGR..............any idea how I might start a diagnosis. Thanks in advance.

I have the same problem on a 97 300D. It started after replacing the plastic fuel line on the injector pump which I had to remove the intake manifold in the process. Code P1470 comes up as a non active code. I've replace the vacuum transducer Y31/2 which the code is for but the problem won't go away. I need help too!

TSB DDAF07 17-U-6000A mentions checking pressure transducer production code if DTC P1403, P1465, or P1470 are stored. If production code is between 1676 and 2086, replace it.
