moisture on inside of windshield...

I forgot to mention that on the SDL I'm looking at, on the right side there were drops of water like condensation on the inside of the windshield. I was in the bottom right corner and went in about 3" and that was it. Do you guys know why that would be there?
Thanks
David

Hey,
my guess would be water infiltration around the windshield or doors.

Or worst case scenario a leak in the heater core.

Can't I go ot Autozone and get a pressure tester for the cooling system or would it not work? WHUNTER; have you seen many 126's with rust at the sway bar bracket's up front in front of the windshield? Our old 420SEL had it sio bad the bracket actualy broke and it had a severe pull on braking.
Thanks
David

how's your sunroof surround sealing?

mine has rusted somewhat and in the rain, water seeped in through to the headliner, down the left A-pillar and down the left corner of the floor. When the outside air is cold, the moisture in the left front corner condenses on the left bottom corner of the windshield.

this took me a while to figure out, as the left front carpet was getting wet for no apparent reason at all. While the carpet was wet, I traced the moisture all the way to the A-pillar, up the headliner, and to the sunroof (!)

I also experienced some condensation on the bottom corner of the rear window, on the same side of the car. Some moisture must have also found its way down the C-pillar, I figured.

so I just used some silicone to seal the rusted openings as a medium-term fix ...

Ripped both brackets out and smashed around, the owner continued to drive it another year, until the bar broke off the driver upper control arm.
