I want to commend Leith Mercedes on Capitol Blvd in Raleigh, NC for their mechanic Mark's service on my 1982 300sd. Mark is an expert on the older models and knows these cars inside and out. Mark replaced my oil cooler lines and I have been to three separate mechanics now and Mark has my transmission shifting so smoothly that you don't feel any of the shifts at all - no kidding. It runs like it was brand new. Helen is the service advisor that helped me. I have never been treated more nicely or had as good a service experience at any Honda or Toyota or Ford dealership and I have owned all other three brands. My regards to these folks. Mark has a large following of older Mercedes owners.

What is the hourly rate at Leith Mercedes?

I believe the service advisor told me there was a lower rate for tire work and a higher rate for diagnosis and repair. I think she said the diagnose and repair rate was $85 per hour. The tire rate was $48 per hour
