last night. it was 0 this morning. can i leave it plugged in until i get back from fla next sat nite?

10 day forcast is rain and temps in high 30's here next week.

I wouldn't suspect any problems, but it would sure cost alot for all that heat that your not going to be using while not home.

Why would you want to leave it plugged in for 9 days when four hours of heating will normally do the trick?

its frozen here and it hasn't started since last sat nite.

It could be sitting at 0 degrees for a month.

Four hours on the heater should bring most of the engine up to 45-55 degees.

If you have fuel and you have properly working glow plugs, it will immediately start.

The only reason you may want to leave it plugged in is if you have straight water (no antifreeze) in the block. In that case, leave it plugged in and drain/flush/fill with antifreeze as soon as possible.
