a wandering eye...
It all began simply,with a pretty nice 240D.It became not enough;I fell for an '87 300SDL.It's a great car,with a great ride,etc..Lately I've developed a thing for a 300D,an '87 or maybe an early 90s model,based on different opinions I've heard.Can someone tell me why a switch to the D turbo would be a good move,from the SDL?Condition and mileage ,etc..being equal.

Advantages I could see: Smaller, faster and more nimble.
Disadvantages I see: Parts not as available, smaller, leaving a car as great as an SDL behind.
