1987 300 SDL on E-Bay --- Nice
Browsing through E-Bay and noticed this 1987 300SDL. Looks nice! I think he goes really overboard on his advertisement. I think if he just left it simple he'd get a good response.

This fellow seems to obtain quite a few M/B's in decent condition. He generally appears to sell them at "realistic" prices. Most have "higher" mileage and should be checked personally before committment, IMHO.

That is identical to mine...except I have lorenzer wheels. Love the black on black. Also mine will have the VERY rare updated #18 cyl head

Wonder if he'll pull it before the sale is up. He wants $5000. and I wonder what the head # is as what kind of condition the dash is in?

Good buy! That looks like a nice clean example. I like the color combo too, black on black looks sharp.

perhaps spare parts?
Congratulations, just a thought that occured to me that you may have considered. Do you still have access to your old car or can purchase it for a song. At least you would have a spare head. Even greedy insurance companies might be motovated to let you have head or even complete engine or car really cheap. The old expression two heads are better than one may be valid. If you had a spare head the one on the car will never go bad. Think of it as owning a two headed monster. Really though the best of fortune with your new car. Wish I had one of them. Anyone out there got a new CDI they hate. I can send in a car carrier and reduce your anger.
