Smile Install of Passenger Side Rear View Mirror

Merry X-MAS to me!

I got a great deal on a package of items for the 240D. This was the best.

no car name?

I never cared for naming a car. What's the dog's name? I found a rearview for mine a year ago, don't know why MB didnot make them standard equipment. This past week I found a set of bundt cake wheels for mine. $25 each. May not put on the car, probably clean and sell them.

It's the holidays, Be smart, careful and safe!

My daughter's 240D has both mirrors (pass side manual). I think it was a option to get the right side mirror as I've seen more with it than without.

I believe the passenger side mirror became standard in about 1981 for US-spec cars. That's when US Gov't regulations mandated the extra mirror.

Passenger Rear View Mirror

was an option until mandated by US DOT standards in 1981. If your's has one and is built before then, it is either an option-install or an aftermarket addition

My 1982 240D did not have the passenger side rear view mirror. I had to add it after I bought it.

The mirror project was a snap. Looks better and it will be nice to have it for traffic. Now, back to the rear window seal and then the trunk lid seal.

Oh ya, the dog is Boomer. He is a 93 lb. Golden Retriever/Black German Shepard. One very good dog.
