What does diesel cost in your neck of the woods?

With gas prices creeping back up again and the home heating oil season nearing an end, the price of diesel in central CT is right back in line with gas. This morning I filled up @ $2.69/gal. RUG-$2.59/gal., Mid-$2.69/gal and Super-$2.79/gal. For a good part of the winter it was running about $0.30+/gal. more than RUG.

Is anyone buying biodiesel? If so what are you paying for it?

It's about the same here in north-central PA.
No Bio available here, only alternative is grease!

each fill up I have been getting a 18gallon container of diesel to store in garage...I have two full so far. it should soften the bill when fuel hits 3.20 a gallon again this summer... 64cents a gallon for taxes... ick. anyway, currently (as of monday when I filled up...) Diesel is 2.49 and rug is 2.31 I hardly ever look at premium prices, so I don't know.
only bio available in my area is at one station about 40 miles from me, and it's only B20, so I don't go out of my way to get it.
working up the greasecar convertion... several stores are willing to donate oil for me!
we shall see.

Diesel is bout 4.50 canadian or 3.00 american per us gallon here. Its all relevent to where you live and what you earn though. Wages out in the west specifically Alberta for example are astronomical at present. The spread in earnings for the same employment depending on location basically in this country has become too great in the last while in my opinion. A better yardstick is how much fuel is purchased with one hour of earnings. Inflation has to be considered carefully. On that basis fuel may even be cheaper than in the past for many. For those that have not kept up it may be greater.

Cheapest diesel local is $2.50, currently burning homemade bio at approx $1/gallon, willing to sell at $1.75-$2/gal if anyone local wants some... (after I get a drum of methanol and start producing more)

I hadn't noticed in last couple of days, but earlier in the week Dino Diesel was $236.9 and regular gas was $2.379...I'm sure both have gone up since then....
