126 chasis recalls/tech bulletins available online
http://www.alldata.com/TSB/35/82352004.html
I found this using Google. Has anyone used this service? Autozone.com has lists of every w126 chassis recall and technical service bulletin from Mercedes. To access them is $24.95 per year. You can't view them unless you subscribe. Before I was to do this, I wanted to know if anyone else had used them?

I have an AllDATA subscription on the 123. Other than having access to the FTBs, it's useless.

I agree. Save your money and buy the service CD.
The site is useful for the bulletins and possibly wiring diagrams, but is useless for anything else. The photos are so poor you can't make anything out and text is very incomplete. (Worse than a Chiltons manual, if that is possible) I had a subscription for one year and let it expire.

save your money
4 steps:
1: learn how to use the search on this site. 2: before you take it apart think about safety (do you have jack stands etc...) 3: take it apart take pictures if you need to 4: think about Safety. what could you have done wrong if in doubt repeat from step 1.
