'81 W123 Limo for sale - what's it worth?

Looks like fun; they are ultra-vague about the price...

I saw another one posted that had less limo tint and bundt wheels for $5000 or so that was supposedly in Novato. It must be dismally slow and seems rather ironic. Why would a "rich" executive care to have a car that is seriously underpowered and has good fuel economy? Perhaps its for their kids..... in training for a Maybach.

I have one that I got back in August. It is a fun, unique vehicle. Yes, it is a little slow around town but once you get it out the highway the thing cruises nicely! As far as price and value is concerned, it would really depend on the condition. The body on mine is not the greatest, however the engine and transmission are in very good shape, as is the interior. This car is a true novelty and my kids and I prefer it over any mini-van out there.

Everyone at school knows I drive a W123, now, if I showed up at the senior prom in that.
