Thanks to this member, I was able to open my hood today! :D :D :D If anyone is wondering... my cable snapped off, then the black covering pulled down over the metal inside rendering me unable to pop the hood. It went from bad to FUBAR. :(

Matt shot me some secret pics how to pop the hood in an emergency situation if you ever get to this point (which let's hope you NEVER do).

Since my "run-in" with an Escort, my cable feels stiff and reluctant to open. i fear it could break any time.

And how about sharing with the board "publically", so every one can benefit when ever thery are in situation like this. After all this is what this board is all about, sharing you experience with every one else.

Well, it won't help most of you, because a 126 has a different latch set-up than a 123, and if you have a working 126 hood, it's not rocket science as you can open it up to see where to poke around...don't mind sharing, but fewer random people knowing how to jimmy somebodys hood open makes me feel better somehow.....








Just 'cause I'm paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get me... :P
