My buzzer has quit working. My fuse card is missing. Does anyone know what fuse is for the buzzer in the w126 and would anyone have an extra fuse card for a 300sd they want to part with?

I might be able to do that for you, perhaps sometime tomorrow evening, I work all day tomorrow but at night I suppose I could bring in the card from my 1982 300SD light blue.... Yes I have the same exact car, so I feel obligated. I'll make myself a note to bring it in and scan it tomorrow night.

We also have almost the SAME amount of posts!

why not decide NOT to fix it. I wouldn't bother.

Thats what I was thinking too.....why. That buzzer drives me nuts. I want to get like a sound or tone chip from Radioshack or something and rig my own cool-sounding car-tone. My buzzer has a low and dying quality to it...

Same thing I was wondering.
My buzzer sounds like a dying alien.
I just yanked the plug under the dash- not quite sure what else that affects, lots of contacts, I suspect the dome, but whatever; I no longer have to listen to that awful thing.

Has anyone changed out that buzzer for, say, a nice chime, or a sexy voice saying "Don't forget your lights, sweety."
