300SD Window Switch Cleaning
Well, one of my kids spilled some soda on the center console. I thought I got it all up, but my window switches started to stick.
I have a brand new switch that came with the car, but decided, since I did, to take the original one apart and see if I could do anything to clean it. Wow....one of the easiest things I've ever done (much easier than trying to repair a door strap and put it back together!!). The switch comes apart easy and can be cleaned with soap and water. Careful that you don't lose the little BB that allows it to rock back and forth. Door switch works great....and I still have the new one to replace it if I ever need to!
