Okay, I'm confused now.
I originally thought I had heard somewhere that most of the 5 cylinder Benz diesels averaged around 30mpg. However, it seems that in the past few weeks people have been talking about getting mileage more like in the low 20's. Can anyone shed light on this? I typically stick to the speed limit, but acceleration is an issue so the 300D turbo is my first choice...although I'm starting to wonder if a 190D would work better for me, if I could find one? Thanks in advance! So far, Venkat's 300D sounds like my best bet if I can get the van sold fast enough...
