Jas,
Don't be in such a hurry to give the car away. I have an '82 300D (Euro) with 290,000 miles on it and I wouldn't sell it for $2,500. The fact that it's a "Euro" or "Grey Market" in the minds of some can be a detractor. However, these things are far easier to maintain than the US models and parts have never been a problem for me. However, if you want to give it away, then somebody here ought to be smart enough to take if off of your hands. |
I also have 300D Euro (1984) cloth seats, no turbo, 4 speed manual trans, manual windows, manual sunroof, AC.... Much simpler, less to break. I would not part with it!!! :D

I agree with Don
Jason,
Thanks, I got the pics of your car and I would not let it go so cheap, unless it's just the thing to do, for whatever reason.......... Good luck, Clay |
If I had the funds available, I'd be all over it. However, I'm looking into building a new house, so no can spend any moolah right now.

I bought a w115 thats getting all my attention now. Being a college student, I cant really afford the insurance on two cars otherwise I would keep it. :( I bought it for $2000 and have converted that A/C and replaced glow plugs, so I figures 2k-2400 was a fair price.. No luck so far... |
