84 300d Euro for sale

Im selling my 84 300d Euro. Id like to sell it to somebody here, then I will know its being taken care of. It has 180K, automatic transmission, automatic climat control, cloth seats, manual windows. The car was bought new in Greece in 1984. Shipped to Houston in 1988, then New Mexico in 1990. Been here ever since.
Pros: No rust, no leaks at all, runs great, interior is in good condition. CD Player with two pinoeer speakers on the reardash. A/C converted to 134
Cons: There are cracks in the dash, vacuum leak in the drivers side door lock. The rear tailight is cracked

Im asking $2500. Im not sure how to attach pics to the post, so Email for any additional info and pics at: Jas2on@hotmail.com

Jas,

Don't be in such a hurry to give the car away. I have an '82 300D (Euro) with 290,000 miles on it and I wouldn't sell it for $2,500.

The fact that it's a "Euro" or "Grey Market" in the minds of some can be a detractor. However, these things are far easier to maintain than the US models and parts have never been a problem for me.

However, if you want to give it away, then somebody here ought to be smart enough to take if off of your hands.

I also have 300D Euro (1984) cloth seats, no turbo, 4 speed manual trans, manual windows, manual sunroof, AC.... Much simpler, less to break. I would not part with it!!! :D

I agree with Don

Jason,

Thanks, I got the pics of your car and I would not let it go so cheap, unless it's just the thing to do, for whatever reason..........

Good luck,
Clay

If I had the funds available, I'd be all over it. However, I'm looking into building a new house, so no can spend any moolah right now.

I bought a w115 thats getting all my attention now. Being a college student, I cant really afford the insurance on two cars otherwise I would keep it. :( I bought it for $2000 and have converted that A/C and replaced glow plugs, so I figures 2k-2400 was a fair price.. No luck so far...
