1986 300SDL...price dropped!

I was driving today and noticed that the price of my 300 SDL is now $6995.00. Hmmm, I wonder if they'll come down more? I'd say if it came down $500.00 more it'd be very negotiable.

Well it's cheap now, but it'll go up. I may go and check it out in a couple of days and get back with you all on it. Just from looking at the pictures, my ex 300SDL is in much better by comparisons.

I didn't sense any attitude in the guys replies at all. It appears he is just the "Ebay ad guy" for this business and only takes pics and posts ads. Which comment of his do you think was impolite?

I sensed no "major attitude". However, the guy who asked a question using the "muted" expletive seems to have an attitude. What's up with that? He needs to work on his people skills IMHO.

BHD, I honestly thought the seller had an excellent attitude. Did you see the stupidity in the questions? I would have had far less patience with those a__holes.

Who in their right mind would ask an e-bay seller to drive the vehicle from Austin to Atlanta?

Q: you cannot fix the drivers seat in "10 minutes." The leather has to be taken off the seat frame and sewn on a machine, if the leather is not too dried out if it takes ten minutes why didn't you do it? thank you Jay Answered on Jan-27-05
A: That's much more polits than the last guy, therefore I will answer you. The manager of the lot leaves cars to be placed on ebay. It is neither my job nor responsibility to repair such things. However, I have repaired the exact same type of stitch on a 1989 Peugeot wagon using a hook needle and nylon. repair was done ten years ago. You've take tne time to write me, perhaps this problem is a major enough determinant in your decision to buy the car. Everything else is clean. If you want the car, please bid.
Q: Dude, why don't you spend ten minutes on that f....n front seat and repair it? Answered on Jan-27-05
A: Why don't you sent 10 minutes on your mouth and wash it with soap?

The seller was a lot more polite than I could have mustered. It is getting harder and harder to suffer fools politely. I'm futher hampered by being one of the fools that gets on my nerves the most.

True but you have to muster a polite response even from idiots............lest you look just as bad.

I need to be more sensitive I guess.

Well, his answer was inappropriate, but, it was thoroughly provoked. The questioner used language that was unprintable.
