Haynes Manuals

i'm looking for a repair manual for my 1986 300SDL. the only repair manual i seem to find is only for up to 1985 diesels. is there a thin line between the 1985 repair manual and the 1986 (if it exist) manual, or are they both the same?

I strongly recommend you only use the MB factory manuals. They are available new on CD from MBUSA (1-800-FOR-MERC) for ~$125, or you can usually find them on eBay, in paper manuals or CD. Here's one I just found:

I recomend that you buy a CD for $20 off ebay. If I had a burner I would send you a copy of mine. When I first got my car I was all ready to drop $300+ on a full set of shop manuals from Books4cars.com. But I returned them because my W126 CD had them all on it and then some.

The SDL's are somewhat rare cars, to my knowledge their are only official manuals for them no aftermarket stuff.

Edit: I just looked at the one on ebay, thats it buy that one.
