what should i do?

about a month ago i bought a transmission for my 300sdl. i bought it from one mercedes place and had it put in at another (the place where i bought the transmission was not able to put it in). anyway it started leaking fluid so i took it back to the second place that put it in. This was Tues. now it's Friday i'm finding wet spots AGAIN under the car beneath the transmission. should i pay to have it resealed at another Benz shop or let them keep doing it until they get it right? if i go to another Benz place i know it's going to cost.

Was it used? Was any warranty given by place #1? If so, then they are obligated to fix or replace. But you will likely have to remove the trans and take it to them since that is how they sold it to you.

Was the leak from something place #2 did? Like did they change the filter, thus R&R the pan & gasket and now the gasket leaks?

Place #2 is only liable for the work they did.

If you paid #2 to fix the leak and it still leaks, then #2 would have to fix it again. Ifthe leak was fixed and returned later, how long did #2 warranty the repairs?
