1987 300TD 125K miles, $11,000?
Seems a bit high, though the car looks great. Kelley says only $5k, recent ebay search with seemingly similar cars no higher than $9k. Thought I might offer $8k. Recent poor paint job ( red ), though no rust, etc. What do you guys think? If you're really willing to consider $11k, I'll tell you where I found it. I'm just afraid of the head gasket ( or head, even worse ) going at 200k...

I think for that kind of money you should consider the later 90's diesels, like the 92-range 300D or the 95 car. No known engine problems and they get a little better fuel mileage. Not as powerful though, but potentially a nicer car for the money.
