ok i wanna fix the sun roof and it only opens a little bit. and it doesnt open all the way

and there is like this long tube that is conneted to the sunroof motor and the other end is disconnected does it connect to something

the tube is fine the way it is. There is a cable that runs inside there when the sunroof is opened, rather than flopping around in the trunk.

how do i get roof open though

The tube, should actually be up several inches so its hidden from view.

In the first pic, I think I see the "tool" (just to the right of the spring)that you can use to manually crank the roof open with. There is an opening on that side of the trunk (near the tool) that you can stick that tool into, and crank it open. I think you can attach a ratchet to it.
