1983 MMercedes Bens 300D with Manual 5-speed - $6500

Saw this on Craig's list DC - no affiliation.

1984 300D 445k (!!) (Strider) Original (and not rebuilt) engine and transmission. Currently running on V80 ( 80% vegetable oil, 20% petroleum products). Actually not, taking a WVO break.
1993 300d 2.5 275k. Current 120/day commuter
1981 300SD 188k (Hans) Killed by a deer

I don't know why, but there are alot of 300d manual trans cars in the DC/Maryland area. My old car (now Rick's) was originally imported into that area as well.

Military officers returning from Europe/Germany?

My friend James' first duty station after 3 years in Deutschland was Ft. Belvoir and, I know several others who returned from Europe and immediately spent time in the DC area.

Hey, that car isn't on the East coast, its just one ofMr. Diesels super elevated high priced cars f.s.
Did you call up his web page? do it for laughs. The link was provided on craigslist.
Hey, I wonder if the good Mr. Diesel reads these posts?
He is notorious for real expensive MB diesels, although in excellent shape or low mileage, they are HIGH !!!
Need an example? how about a '78 240D for $10,900 Ok, Got it?
