If it is a Diesel I think ' The Warden' qualifies as an expert on them....
He is advising me on a 86 F250 6.9 as we speak....

its a 75 f-250 ranger. im pretty sure im gonna buy it. he wants $800 for it and hes including a new ps pump and camper shell. its got a bran new carb on it,new brakes, oil has been changed and he had the main fuel tank sand blasted inside and out and had it repainted. 4 speed manual tranny,4x4,and if i remember right he said it has a 4:10 gear ratio. now for the down side:the body is pretty dented but has no rust, its missing the inside door panels, drivers side door handle and window crank. it needs some work but it will work for the purpose.

yes!

About the PS lines, if he can't find them, he hasn't looked very hard. I put new lines on our 77 F250, got them no problem, I am unsure where we got them though....But I remember having different choices of which one to order. I would order both, and bring the old ones in to see which one is right. Which motor does that have?? 351M/400 V8????

Its probably one of those, most were made with that. make sure you test drive it, to make sure you like it. You aren't going to get good MPG, maybe 18 if you are lucky. I would check out the websites listed above, if you want shoot me an IM, I'd be glad to help.
