I remain wholeheartedly impressed with everyone on this forum...

I know it has been said before, but I just feel the need to give a huge thank you to everyone on this forum. You all are a top-notch bunch of folks, and it is an honor to hang out on this forum with you. Can't tell you all how much I appriciate it.
This is the most thoughtful, impressive, caring, positive minded online community I have ever seen.
You folks have helped me tremendously, givin me a fresh attitude when the s**t hit the fan, and made it possible for a hand-to-mouth guy like me to actually own one of these beasts.
And a number of you have went way out of your way for me personally; you know who you are. I sure hope I get the chance to repay each of ya.
Thanks for everything.

Great message. I feel exactly the same way. The folks on this forum make the ownership of the glorious three pointed star possible without having to declare bankruptcy. You just won't believe how much data is contained in the archives here. It's so much and so good it is insane.

Thank you all.

Richard

Anyone ever go to the other sites? They're lame compared to this one. This is a very comprehensive site. The MBCA site is a joke. Benzworld's pretty funny too. People here use too many big words for the kids on the other sites, too technical. Great for me though.

Thanks, too

My thanks to owners and contributors. In a similar vein, there is a nice German site, www.w123.de which is excellent, too; but, of course, it is in German. I appreciate all the wise, generous counsel here and have learned a great deal of merit. Also of interest in a kind of extraordinary way for Mercedes of all kinds, www.mirbach.de. In addition to 540K's for sale, they also have Mercedes diesels as seen here, that is, W123's too. They go for a hefty chunk of Euros, at that.

Thumbs up

I wonder if owning either of my Benz would have been possible for me without support of the many members here on this forum. BB

I feel the exact same way. This is no doubt the best forum and I am going to repay some of my fellow forum members by having a get together this spring. All will be invited and I'm hoping for a big turnout. I'll keep you all posted...probably will be in May to ensure good weather. Stay tuned!

Cheers,
Bill

We have discussed this...late last fall. Don't worry---I'll post a couple threads! I am also trying to get a few of my rat rod buddies to show up as well just to mix it up a little. We have a farm here in Pa. with lots of parking, camping spots and other lodging close by i.e. motels, B & B's, etc.

Cheers,
Bill
