GP Relay fuse
The GP's in my 83 123 are probably shot. Although looking at them, they look easy to replace, they are not when it's freezing cold. Even with the right wrenches just replacing one (the front) was a challenge. Anyway, in going through some posts I see mention of a GP Relay fuse. Where is that? I found the GP relay, black rectangular cover at towards the front on the driver side fender. I took the plug part and and squirted some contact cleaner in there just for the hell of it. I'd like to know whare this fuse is so I can check it too. The car won'y start on it's own even at 30+ degrees. 60 mins on the block heater and it fires up fine. I starting to suspect my GPs aren't turming on at all and maybe I should check this fuse. The indicator lamp lights but does seem to go out pretty quick. Since one GP is brand new I would have expected the engine to at least try to catch a little. BTW, valves are Ok as is general motor condition. This rough starting only occurred recently.
Thanks for any advice. |

the 80 amp strip fuse is in the relay box that you mention.
2 philips screws on each end hold it in
