Be carefull with the rust, I was looking at a 77 6.9 (same car) you would not believe how these things can rust. For $800 you don't have much to lose(heck you could make money if you parted it), but I would poke and look it over before putting much money into it.

Remember TxBill, wasn't the 116 he owned named Eduardo? Said one day he drove over to see Mr . Leather and when it stopped in the driveway Eduardo left a rather large pile of rust behind. Just like a horse would do I suppose.
Fan don't start? was that the heater fan inside? Or did he mean the electic fan on the radiator. Those come on when the ac heats up. Normally they do not come on at all.
