Out of control or unknowlegeable bidders. Perhaps They have missed a meal or so. Really bad to see this kind of thing but do not believes proves anything except perhaps overall a lack of intelligence. Would not want to bet that either car will be picked up by highest bidder. But as one member states, I reserve the right to be wrong.

The bidding might go that high......but two questions remain.....are these shill bidders....and will the money actually be paid to the seller.

Yeah I agree with Boner. Shill bidding is an effective tool to create hysteria around an auction. The clincher is when the highest real bidder receives a "Second Chance Offer" to purchase the car because the "high bidder" backed out.

They are both very nice cars that I wouldn't mind having in my driveway. Not for those prices though.
