High mileage car w/records v. car with 150K with none
What would be your preference: A car with 200-250K with all the records? Or, a car with 125-150k with no records? If you were looking to purchase a Mercedes Benz diesel? Thanks for opinions

I would buy the 200k-250k car.
Or choice C, buy a gas version with under 100k miles on it with a full maintaince history. :D |
Definitely the former. Records are the most important to me. My CD had 104,000mi. and every single service record since new. More mileage would have been acceptable, but lack of records would have left me continuing my search.

It's my feeling that you don't worry about the odometer. Go with your gut and knowledge for cars. If it has been well cared for but the miles are high, so be it. Some people will buy a car just because it has low miles.. even if the car has been neglected or beat to hell,
