Geeze, what a heap and, butt ugly too....the only thing potentially worth saving on that junker would be the chassis. But, a 3.5 80's era diesel...I'm really tempted to drive down there and see what kind of engine that unit has installed.

That's the 508d chassis (or maybe 608). It'll have the 314 direct injection engine. Top speed on most of those is lucky to be 60mph.
The 508 means 5 ton capacity 80hp.
