St. Louis 300SD going cheap
 

Hi kids,

Just thought I'd let you know that one of our fellow biodieselers has found a deal on a 300SD that is too good to pass up here in St. Louis, MO.

Here are the few details I have:

>1982 300SD
>160,000 mi turbo diesel w/ sunroof
>black ext/gray int
>ignition needed
>windshield needed
>body straight & no rust, hail damage right side
>2 owner car, brother owned car first
>$400.00

The car needs to be moved soon, hence the low price. The only questionable thing according to the guy who's seen it is the smell of burnt oil under the hood (?). However, the low price and low miles mean its very attractive.

Let me know if you are interested (contact me by PM or email) and I'll get you the rest of the info. I haven't seen it myself, but the guy who's looked at it owns a few 123s so knows at least a little of what to look for, and for 400$ you'd have a hard time going wrong.

So... What happened to your buddy's car? I have to guess it is sold, but I would like closure, since I haven't slept over this in 4 or 5 days. :)
