1983 - 240d
COLOR=Red]I have a problem with my car not wanting to go in to reverse untill the car has been running for 20 or 30 mins, it changes fine on the open road.[/COLOR]

 Automatic or 4 speed ? Auto may be low on trans fluid. 4 speed could be that the linkage is worn or you are not pulling up enough on the stick.
