Any opinions on water seperators?
My parts car had a Dahl water seperator that I pulled off of it yesterday. It was unhooked, and doesn't have a filter in it. Does anyone have an opinion on these either way?

It depends on what fuel you use. Water separators can be very effective when you use diesel, combined with an additive like Stanadyne to pull the water out. I understand water separators are virtually useless with vegetable oil, and marginal with biodiesel -- both fuels have a greater affinity for water than petroleum fuel.
Myself, I will just add some isopropanol to WVO, and wash/dry my biodiesel thoroughly.
