Sixto, there is a coolant/heater line that comes off of the block on the driver's side. It is bolted to the intake manifold and then goes to a hose to what looks like an auxiliary pump for the heater. It seems that this was leaking for a while, needed to add coolant over the last month a few times. I replaced the hose clamp in the hopes that the leak was related to that connection. Do these parts have a history of leaking? Is there something else I should be looking for?

Thanks for your earlier responses. If I get more time I'll do the delivery valve seals, but as of now I needed to get the car back on the road. I travel alot for business and a few days down and I am losing comissions.

Thanks again,

Joe

Joe,

I can't find the hose you describe. I see a fitting towards the back of the cylinder head that has the heater core return line and a couple of lines for the fuel thermostat. It's held to a fitting on the head by a big circlip. The assembly wraps behind the oil filter housing then splits into a big line for the heater core return hose and two smaller lines for the fuel thermostat. I don't recall anything about this assembly leaking being a common thing.

I'll look again for a coolant hose attached to the block.
