Anyone ever epoxied or repaired inside of euro light?
I took the glass lens of my Bosch euro lights to clean and put silicone a.k.a Super Lube on gaskets before installing in the car as directed by previous posts. The grey plastic retaining piece around that sits between the glass lens and the reflectors is broken at the top. It is a clean break and I think I can use a two part epoxy and glue it back. Epoxy should hold, but I was curious - is there a source for this piece new? If so - does anyone have a part number? And if not, do you think epoxy would hold inside the light under the high heat (using regular wattage bulbs)?
I would submit a digi pic but my dad has the camera right now at his house.
