Bumper Compatability.....
I have a '85 300SD (W126) with a rusting bumper. (The crome is flaking too...)
There is a bumpter for a 1990 420 SEL available locally. (Also a W126) The owner knows it will fit 86-91 W126 Models. He thinks it will fit a 85, but he also wants to sell it... Anyone know if it will work? Is there some compatibility table somewhere? -Thanks -Ben Dunshee

It should fit, the main change was the switch to the 60x engines. Airbags were also added in 86.
