1985 300D Ignition won't work
I have a 1985 Mercedes Sedan and can't get it to start. We just replaced some of the glow plugs and all seemed fine. We drove it from Johnson City, Tennessee to Huntsville, Alabama without a hitch until we got to Huntsville when we had to turn it off manually under the hood. The next day I went out to start it and all worked fine until I tried to turn the key all the way over to start the engine after the glow plug indicator went out. We have worked and worked trying to get it started and it seems that something is "locked" up. We even tried rocking it and putting in neutral, etc. Can you advise as to what the problem might be?
