300d Transmission Reverse adjustment
 

Just a quick note to everyone here in the forum.

Thank you for the instructions on how to adjust the reverse band on my 300d transmission. I found the "bolt" with the broken off head on the passenger side of the transmission. It was near the front like many had stated.

I removed the "bolt" and its locknut and I used a cutting wheel on a grinder to cut a slot in the head of the bolt so that I could use a flat bladed screwdriver to adjust it once it was reinstalled.

I now have reverse again!!!

Does this adjustment have anything to do with it taking several seconds for reverse to engage?
