Ricer 300SDL upgrade on ebay!

I love this, insted of sucking nice cold air from in front of the radiator now your engine can suck hot air from under the hood through a smaller filter! :D

I think he should spend the $120 he is charging for this kit on some proper coolant and fix up a few things under the hood.

I can't figure out who his customer is.

Anyone who has their vehicle repaired by the dealer or the Indy is not his customer.

Anyone who repairs the vehicle themselves would be sharp enough to blow that kit right off.

So, who is he selling it to??

It's not like there are 100,000 of these vehicles out there as a base market.

Lowered Expectations

Brian, Good point, but I think you've overestimated the critical thinking skills of the public.

93% of elections are won by the guy with the biggest advertising budget.

It's the triumph of marketing.

and make it look attractive to people that admire the ricer's cool blue and red painted valve covers. http://www.wade************************/

I suspect the developer of the stage 1 and stage 2 miraculous diesel Performance Intake Systems may also be a member of the Shopforum, could that be possible?

I don't understand why I do that. I'm fully aware that the average American is a moron. What the hell was I thinking??

I bet the guy selling the super rare tuned 140mph SDL on ebay would love to get one of these! :D Then it could do at least 150+ :D

Brian put one on your SDL and we can race and see if it makes a difference! :D

Johnhef 04-13-2005 11:28 PM

I can even provide one, I've got one for an SDL... but no SDL lives here!

Ara T. 04-13-2005 11:28 PM

Yo dude that's off the chain!!

Bah..........I can blow your doors off with the stock intake. :D

Hatterasguy 04-13-2005 11:35 PM

I'll issue a challenge, I'll race any SDL with this feature, if you win I'll buy you lunch and admit it might work.

We will do a 0-83 pull, running to ip shut off in 3 gears.

Also a rolling start, standard 3 beep go, race starting at lets say 30 and going to 100 or so. :D

No other tweaks are allowed.

Come on Brian lets go I can take you! :P

I don't think you can, but, I'm a bit reluctant to run this one up to the IP limiter due to the possible head gasket issues.

Maybe when the SD is fixed................... :o

Hatterasguy 04-13-2005 11:43 PM

I don't know my SDL pulls pretty well! :D Don't wait next year I will have a new timing chain, lifters, rebuilt IP, maybe a better exhuast! :D Also I will actually check to make sure it is getting all of the boost it should be.

Brian Carlton 04-13-2005 11:47 PM

You ever do any 0-60 times on it?

Hit Man X 04-14-2005 12:04 AM

Reasons like that are why I love ebay. :D
