summers here,

this is my first summer with the 300sd. live in palm springs, and it gets f..in hot out here. anyone got any suggestions on summerrizing the car from the elements. the normal stuff i have a handle on. just wondering if there may be something that i should be paying attention to in the engine area.

all suggestioms welcome

other than the routine maintnence stuff.....


Just make sure that your AC system is working properly and you should be fine. As long as you have no major issues with the car overheating and you keep up with all of your routine things like oil changes, diesel purging, and valve adjustments, you should be good to go.

Check all coolant hoses for cracks, damage etc.
Check coolant levels regularly.
Check your A/C blows cold.
