Did your glow light time change after you changed you plugs?

The glow light on my car only works sometimes. All my plugs are new and the relay is also new within the last year. My glow problem ended up being a bad connection at the relay. The ground wire on the relay plug had white corosion in it.

The glow light comes from a circuit in the glow relay that has its own "heater". Its affected by outside temp so that if its colder you should get a longer light. Mine seens to only work when it above 40f out.

All that being said the light and the plugs work on separate circuits. Meaning when the light goes out the plugs continue to get juice until the engine is cranked or until the glow timer times out. If you listen for 30 seconds or so without cranking you will hear the glow relay kick out.

I am not a glow circuit expert these are just some of my observations.
