died and gone to heaven. W124 Hearse
 1985 W124 2.5 diesel with W210 front end. Pretty good job on blending the two front ends together. Looks like stock fenders and bumper cover but the fenders were altered to match the hood and deleting the wrap around turnsignals. I wonder if they kept the stock fender mounted intake on the passenger side with the new front end.

Its been many years since I've seen it, but aftermarket companies used to offer a kit when the 210 came out to transform 124's to look like them.

too wierd, i dont know what to say, kind of disturbing but awesome at the same time. is it like an art car or is it really a hearse?

pretty sure its a real hearse. the webpage even had an SEC hood'ed W124 hearse.
W124 hearses in Italy And for the W211 fans...  Im guessing if you can cut and and paste a modern unibody like that, you can handle body work such as the hood and everything. The interiors and the casket loading mechanism are pretty impressive.

you couldnt pay me enough to put a w210 hood on my car.
HIDgolf's link above has a bunch more pictures, theres even a 126 and a 123 hearse, but mostly 124's. for the 124's, do you think they started with a wagon? is there a way to tell? obviously for the 211 and the 126 they started with a sedan. theres a 124 hearse with 4 doors on page 3, but it looks like they shortened the back doors. pic is too big to upload.
