Delivery valve still leaks Turbo 617
1983 300SD. I replaced the copper sealing ring at the base of the delivery valve (P/N 000 074 1559) because the delivery valve was leaking. Everything was carefuuly cleaned and torqued to spec (one time torque per factory spec). the leak is reduced but the delivery valve still leaks diesel. I tried torquing a bit more but still a leak. I will go back and do it again but should anything else be replaced , eg the delivery valve or valve holder? This application (Turbo 617) does not have an o-ring.
