leaking Cv shaft shaft
I replaced the CV shafts last weekend to correct a vibration issue. In doing so, I managed to create a oil leak in on of them on the outboard boot. I have ordered another shaft to replace it with, which should get here next week. My question is can I run it for a week, and may be put 5-700 miles on it. or should I be replacing it with an old one just to be safe. planning a 300 mile trip this weekend, and I am in the middle of a oil cooler line/motor mount R&R, and dont really want to drain the rear differental again and then do it a third time while correcting mistake.
