Thinking about trading my gasser MB for a diesel MB.
I really like my '84 230CE but my heart remains with diesels. I've grown to really like the 300D but when I looked for another diesel I came across the gasser which was so much nicer than any diesels I could find. I was so impressed by the car. The only thing that I don't like about the 230 is the tiny gas tank, I don't think it holds more than 15 gallons. The 4 speed is fun but I guess I'm just too lazy anymore to drive something with a stick on a daily basis. What makes it so neat is that it seems so exotic as this is a very rare model in the US.
I've got a crazy idea to see if someone would want to make me an even trade of a turbo diesel 300 for it that's in as nice a condition as my 230.
