hey guys,

I'm new to the board but find this forum invaluable since aquiring an '86 190D 2.5 in September. I've been able to find most answers through searches but this one is odd. I was changing the oil the other day and wiped down the valve cover to find a 1/8" hole drilled in the left side close to the top corner about 2" back from the fill cap. I never noticed it before now, and it makes no sense why it would be there. The PO did numerous things to "better" the car and chasing all the loose ends has been fun. He's a Rolls Royce enthusiast go figure. Is this supposed to be on a 602? Thanks guys for any answers.
