My Tick-tock- Tick- Tock.........

I asked this question a couple of weeks ago, finally did some exploring today while snaking in a new antenna coax.

When I open the door to the car (interior light comes on), I hear a distinctive tick-tock-tick-tock, just like an old-fashioned wind up clock for about 10-20 seconds (never timed it)

Also, whenever I hit the brake pedal, same thing happens, but I am unsure if the timing is the same.

Today I had the bottom panel off the dash on the drivers side, and found that the tick tock is coming from the electrical box located on top of( to the side of) the emergency brake mechanism under the dash.

Anybody want to hazard a guess??????

Nothing seems out of place, just would like to know what is going on.

cruise control does not work, but when I work the lever above the turn signal stalk, I do hear noise thru the radio suggesting something electrical is going on with respect to the cruise control.
